Alien Tulip 12,428
no she didn't lol. she was SO confused and wrong about what feminism isI'm particularly talking about the series of interviews she did back then. Yeah her definition of feminism was off but she proved the interviewer wrong regardless. There's another segment of this interview with a different angle where the interviewer told her why would she dare film provocative music videos etc. She just felt annoyed that guys could get away with it but when she (a female) does something provocative she's viewed as a slut. Gaga Ate My Ass 173
no she didn't lol. she was SO confused and wrong about what feminism ispretty sure no one was talking about her feminism rant. Everyone in the thread clearly understands what she was getting at and she wasn't confused because shes right about the double standards in pop music. Its like feminists are muslims and modern day feminists are terrorists giving them a bad name.

I think she was more on the lines of explaining how her aspects of being a performer is similar to a male rockstars. Around that time gaga also didnt call herself a gay avtivist either but she still supported them at rallies.

And the fact that she said she was a rock star has nothing to do with her take on feminism. She seemed to think feminism = man-hating.She was saying "oh no, I'm not a feminist. I don't hate men, so obviously I couldn't be a feminist cuz that's what yhey do"
AbuHassan1992 766
Tbh modern day feminists are man-haters. Its like feminists are muslims and modern day feminists are terrorists giving them a bad name.no that's not true. Not ALL modern feminists are man-haters. and that was a terrible comparison, it doesn't even make sense

Its an awkward sentence she said but she was also talking refering to what the interviewer wasnt asking. In 2009 gaga did not call herself a gay activist . Maybe later in the fame monster era. It's what she basically was saying. ever since 2008 she's been calling herself an activist, especially in the very beginning before anybody cared about her
