Thomas P 18,479 Posted June 12, 2015 Share Posted June 12, 2015 I love xtina, and B2B is my fav album by her.Do u think gaga should pull an xtina and go back to the time of Billie Holiday, Etta James, Otis Reding...I don't mean another c2c album, save that for 2017.I mean like b2b where she goes back to those musical stylings, but keeps themes and lyrics to all of the songs modern and hot.I think it would be awesome to see Gaga do that, but what do u think?Also I want her to rock the tight, high, black haired ponytail of the Stripped tour (off topic, just something I want). But going a more organic pop route would be good for both widening the range of Gaga's catalog and from a commercial standpoint, seeing that so many people have loved seeing her stripped down and showing off her vocal talent.So I think she should go that direction, but not necessarily that sound. Like literally dress like Old Hollywood, have 30s and 40s based music videos and tours, etc. I'd prefer if she kept things modern like Amy Winehouse did with Back To Black. Also, B2B had pop, R&B, and hip-hop elements that modernized the music. Something tells me that Gaga's Back to Basics would sound like a Paloma Faith album. I'm confident that Gaga could do most genres successfully, and an organic pop album would be a great reinvention. However, I also want Gaga to do a piano pop/rock album. Maybe she can have an album that contains or even mixes both styles. I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.
