Ke$ha's Legal Battle Continues

Basically she's now adding an addition to her lawsuit that alleges Sony forced the relationship between the two, as well as with other artists and Dr. Luke, despite knowing the type of person they allege him to be

Now, the judge is about to pause one of the accuser's lawsuits...but it's not sure if it'll be Luke's or hers

I honestly don't know how either of them will come out of this unscathed. Meanwhile, her album is just sitting there and she can't release it because of all this crap!

Oh Kesha :ohno:

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

Were Sony involved in the lawsuit prior to this?

I foresee that she'll be choked out financially.

A label forcing their artists to suck Luke's rapist d-ck? What a ****ing twist.

I think it's saying that Sony knew of the 'accusations' (for a lack of a better word) against Dr Luke but continued their business relationship in which female artists were forced to exclusively work with him to create a new 'pop sensation' (as the article puts it...).

Oooh right :rip: That makes a lot more sense. Still disgusting, but yes.

Why not assassin Dr. Luke? :emma:

By the time you reach the end of this sentence, it'll be too late to realize I just wasted your time with a pointless sig.

Disgusting but common, unfortunately.

If the lawsuit is decided in her favor (even if not entirely), she might come out with her image unharmed...or even stronger, bc she'll be "girl who stood up against her male aggressors"... but Luke, his image is hurt no matter what...

Quite frankly, I don't believe 100% in either of them...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Le sigh. I can't believe people still believe Kesha. For one, they've named "numerous other artists" who've been victims but none of them have come forward. If there's anything we've learned from Bill Cosby, it's that if a high-profile victim comes forward, more will. Secondly, the lawyer explicitly named Gaga as a victim on Twitter and was immediately exposed as a liar.

This is obviously a money/contract issue and hopefully the suit gets thrown out soon because I'm tired of hearing about it.

I don't even know what she's trying to do with this. She has to be trying to go the independent route, because if the initial lawsuit hadn't already ended any chances of her getting signed to a different label, dragging Sony into it was the final nail in the coffin.

I just don't understand why she would need to do this to get out of her contract, there was a much better way of handling this ****
