Chucky 39
People can say what they want about Katy, but there's no question she is one of today's most successful pop acts. I'm not a fan by any means, but c'mon, credit where credit is due. :nails:

Sugar 0
Is Wide Awake supposed to be her last single from CC? Cause I really wanted Dressing Up :giggle:
Lum 315
Just saw the movie today. I thought it was good. Not like AMAZING OMGEEE, but it was cool to see some backstage stuff. I wish there woulda been more footage of the "leading up to the show" part. It got me liking her again though. Jammin' to OOTB right now :legend:

Blissey 13
Honestly, I've never been much of a Katy Perry fan. But her last 2 singles and videos are flawless and have started to win me over. I have high hopes for her next album and if it is as good as her last couple singles it may win me over as a fan. :)

I agree that her last two singles have been major improvements but the videos? Part of Me (video) wins biggest turd of the year.

I know most people thought so but I really liked it. It was major departure for an artist like her and very unexpected. I guess it wasn't "flawless" like I said, but I was still impressed. I was kinda pressed they didn't even mention Circle the Drain though..
Foster 23
Teenage dream is #2 on Billboard this week Had it not been for Brown's new "Fortune" release, we would have seen a surprise return to No. 1 for Katy Perry, as her "Teenage Dream" set zooms from No. 21 to No. 2 with 80,000 (up 417%) -- and its best sales frame since Christmas of 2010. The set was one of 20 titles the Amazon MP3 store sale priced for 99 cents -- for one day only -- on July 3. (Perry also benefits from buzz earned by the release of her "Part of Me" film, which hit U.S. theaters on July 5.) http://www.billboard.com/news/chris-brown-s-fortune-album-debuts-at-no-1007545752.story#/news/chris-brown-s-fortune-album-debuts-at-no-1007545752.story
Bat 6,162
I love her WA and TOTGA video. Those are pretty good. However, I starting to like Katy I still find it hard to like her live performances. All her WA live performances suck, and I respect her trying them live but it's just awful. :toofunny:
