Mills 446
To be fair, Peacock hit #1 in the Dance / Club Songs Chart. So, it seems a lot did enjoy it, too.
Guest
If it goes as planned, we'd be getting her third major studio album by summer 2013. I expect another huge year for her. And if they follow the same formula from Teenage Dream, we might be hearing new singles from her for another two years and a half. God bless this post :worship2: Im really excited to see what kind of music will be on her next release since she's working with Sia + can't collab with her former producers. I would love something like "Teenage Nightmare" though Im sure it will be an average bright pop record.
Guest
Never. Peacock is witty, dirty and amazing. Thinking of You is pure cheese. Peacock slayed my whole playlist in 2010 :legend:
Mills 446
Peacock slayed my whole playlist in 2010 Peacock is a fun record. Not her best, for me, but it's also not her worst. I think if it was released as an official single, it would still hit #1 because of its catchy lyrics.
ALX 170
Peacock is a fun record. Not her best, for me, but it's also not her worst. They were developing an animated music video for it but that didn't happen

It is extremly fun but was not released as a single because of its too obvious s-xual content that would conclude less airplay
Mills 446
It is extremly fun but was not released as a single because of its too obvious s-xual content that would conclude less airplay I Kissed A Girl did perform very well in the charts though, and same goes with Rihanna's S&M, which were both well-received by radio. I think Peacock could do the same as well. Anyway, I was rooting before for Dressin' Up to be released as a single too back then.

Imo Peacock is more risky because of the "peacock-cock-cock" line(s), aren't they TOO obvious? The digital performance would've been well though It wasn't released as a single because the only song it could have replaced was Last Friday Night. I love peacock, but Last Friday Night was the obvious fifth single choice. I do remember Slayty tweeting with Perez that she would like to release Peacock because it's so fun and catchy. However, Last Friday Night was chosen because it was a guaranteed hit anyway, so why risk breaking a record? Idk
heavyMetalGAGA 65
VIDEOS: Katy Perry's Performances at the Kids' Inaugural Concert Teenage Dream (prior to this video, she was introduced by Michelle Obama herself) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjJDoYXGceQ Part Of Me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=na3nCG7424Y Firework http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaxdhzYUhgc Wide Awake http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSgA9oZ0D_k It's been a long time since she performed in front of the public, and so far, she's getting better and better by the minute, as shown by these performances of her multi-platinum hits. It's also a feel good moment when Michelle Obama herself introduced Katy Perry, showing how far Katy has come since she recorded I Kissed A Girl. I'm sorry, these performances are so lackluster though...I just can't get into her artistry, it's so childish and forceful, and even tacky. She's very attractive and has a few good hits, other than that though, she's a flash in the pan. She would not have that record deal without that pretty face & nice rack. LFN was the safest choice at that time, and it paid off when it became Katy's fifth consecutive #1 hit. I would also love if TOTGA have continued the streak since it's actually one of my top favourites from the album, along with the title track, Firework and ET. Same here, it would be interesting to see her breaking a record that was set by the King of Pop himself. Espescially with The One That Got Away. It is such a beautiful song and should've peaked at #1. If that would've happened they would've released another single for sure. I imagine Hummingbird Heartbeat would've been the 7th single
