Cause she's the queen and everybody loves her. Seriously tho, U2 opened a grammy show with their new single Get on your boots (flop) and they weren't nominated that year. Because she is BEYONCE. That alone is a good enough reason. Plus there is so much wrong with your post, including spelling mistakes. She DOES NOT need to save DIL from anything. The way she has released this album, she was well aware that her singles will not go to the top of the charts & that wasn't her intention anyway. She has stated this many times in her recent interview, that she did not make songs that will go "No. 1", she made songs that came from the heart and the ones she felt like making. She is BEYONCE, she is beyond that phase of trying to "prove" something. Plus her husband is up for 9 GRAMMYs, more than any other Nominee that night, so that alone should be a proud moment for her so she will definitely accompany him that night. :) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Uhh, BEYONCÉ came out only a month ago, it is a new release. No one said you've gotta have new stuff to perform on an awards show. You'd be crazy not to let Beyoncé of all people perform on your show. New or Old music. She doesn't need a single to save her anymore, she's got an album... an album that's doing better than pretty much all of the Pop Girls. If it were our fav Gaga, you would not have an issue letting her open the show. You need take a break from the net. Plus we're in no place to talk chart positioning anyways. Is it just me, or does the physical copy sound like it has better mastering than the digital copy?
