Economy 49,555
yes! as long as she recognizes thats not a place for her theatrical crap. Well, its not crap, we all love it... But for the superbowl it would be inappropriate to just sit in a piano and have crazy setting and shocking immages that are hard to interpret its gotta be dancy and energetic. Her "TF" performances style would be perfect for the super bowl!
Mister Gaga 22,889
AP by me But yes, of course
Bellatrix 34,783
Yes, but I want her to wait like at least five years when she has more awesome hits Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?
Stephen 30,423
I want her to do it during or after the next era, before she has a baby. She'll also have at least 1 more hit song by then, hopefully more.
PartySick 159,824
It'd be nice but after the Jazz era. I love Jazz but I couldn't imagine her going out there with Tony and crooning in the middle of a football game she'll need some aggressive music to go with it. Something along the lines of Heavy Metal Lover, Bad Kids, MANiCURE, etc. 🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼
Jester 6,302
Yes, there's literally no better way to show all America what she's able to do
Jjang 2,262
She's not big enough. I assume Taylor will be next.
Dunk96 2,526
Yes I do think 100% Gaga should perform at Superbowl 50 to show America and the world what she's capable of. However I don't think she will because she was already asked twice and they require stars to lipsync during the show because the acoustics suck wherever the Superbowl is because the stadiums where they're played aren't made for live entertainment. They're made for football. And Gaga would never lipsync, even if they were prerecorded live-sounding vocals.

Spock 20,290
I think it's not a question of if, it's a question of when. I'm sure she is going to do it, but I don't see it happening anytime soon though. My money's on Taylor for the Half Time next year. And I'm not saying that because I stan, she's just the obvious choice who will love me when the night is over
Emvee 8,351
She needs recent hits.

StrawberryBlond 14,820
I'd love it if she did it. I wanted it in the last few years but now I see it might be better to wait a little while longer so she has more hits to choose from and when she's in an even better place with the public. I really don't see why some people think she'd be "too gay" to be considered for the SB. It's easy to think this way because she has a lot of gay fans, but there are far "gayer" popstars out there. Honestly, it doesn't get "gayer" than Katy Perry (I mean that in a non-offensive way) and she did the SB. Ok, she may have some straight fans too but really, her music is so unapologetically girlie and bubblegum pop that there's very little justification, in general society's eyes, to like her music if you're a straight guy.I've heard plenty of straight men confess to liking Just Dance, Pokerface, Bad Romance, TEOG, Y&I and DWUW. TEOG in particular is the perfect song for the GP. I've never found one person who dislikes it. It really won over a lot of rock fans who had previously bypassed Gaga, as did BR (very industrial beats) and Y&I (mix of country and rock). I've even heard metal versions of BR sung by guys. For a popstar, it's impressive that Gaga is connecting with non-pop fans and straight males. Even Madonna and Beyonce with their status, didn't excite any straight male's interest minus the few who were fans. People would be psyched about Gaga doing the SB and she must be in consideration. Let's face it - they're running out of people to ask. I doubt she'll do the next one, though. 3 out of the last 5 shows were female artists and all of the last 5 were mainstream pop acts, so there might be a rock band or rapper next time. Surprised they've never asked Bon Jovi. They'd be awesome.
Judicorn 291
I feel that after Taylor Swift, she is probably the next female "in line". I'm pretty sure that the Superbowl would use Taylor when she's at the peak. But after Taylor, and a male artist probably, she'll be next.
