It's very heartbreaking to look back on the videos of her singing as a kid because she had it. But it seemed her voice was naturally tailored for jazz, country, soul and gospel music better than pop. When she went pop, her naturally good voice went away, never to be found again. I don't know if she still can sing a bit, but there's very little evidence out there.The Lana one is definitely outdated. The explanation proves that it was completely based on that SNL performance, so this entry shouldn't even be acknowledged. Even some of the haters know that Lana's vocals have improved massively since then. I think she was just so nervous at the beginning and she's more relaxed when performing for fans as opposed to a faceless general audience. Now her vocals are on point and she conducts herself like a star.And Avril, really? She's had her moments but as someone who's seen her live, I can clarify that she can sing. Maybe not the best singer but a passable one. I think the listmaker was just trying to come up with one more entry and had racked their brains, found nothing and just put her there.And yeah, I second the fact that Taylor is not there. She's one of the first singers who can't sing that I think of. I know it's called hot singer who can't sing but men find Taylor hot so, why isn't she here? I think it's obvious from the way they are arguing their cases that they are trolling the bases. They are pretty condescending toward the reader. They claim things as facts then immediately tell the reader that they can't use any argument (especially ones they know may be valid) to dispute them, and then are all, "but we love them (even though we have ripped apart a specific part of their artistry and thrown other shades their way)". Why? Because they are a music site and know the higher ups will get pissed at them if a popular artist that VH1 wants to use in the future takes offense and won't give them exclusives.
