Delete 258 Posted June 5, 2015 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Personally I think it's her worst album...However, I do believe that a lot of the songs, concepts, and imagery had so much un-utilized potential. Had she cut some of the weaker tracks, "Jewls & Drugs", "Donatella", and "Fashion"; in addition to fixing the manipulated vocals and last minute/unneeded lyric and music changes ("Can you feel it/can you feel it (now Mr Krabs)" or "You were in my, you were in my dreams") the album would've flowed a lot better. Most of the issues range from poor management and over production. The songs themselves are quite wonderful. I mean ARTPOP acoustic is life. Even though it is my least favorite album from her, take her last three albums out of the equation and it's not a bad album. It just feels like a major step backwards in comparison. Bradley 59,197 Posted June 5, 2015 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Yaaaasssss!!!! ARTPOP is my favorite Gaga album. Well, BTW and TFM are just about tied with ARTPOP but ARTPOP, imo, is a pop masterpiece. Songs like Aura (demo version), Venus, G.U.Y., Sexxx Dreams, MANiCURE, Swine, Donatella, Fashion!, Mary Jane Holland, Dope, and Gypsy slay me for life. I even bop to Jewels 'N Drugs cuz it's my jam! I was one of those little monsters who bought two physical copies, hoping to buy the CD with the foil, and also on iTunes.
