However, it is rude to call him a science project or any project of some sort. A s-x change to me isn't that shocking nowadays especially because of how many people are transgender. Solar power in Africa can help millions, and Caitilyn is helping herself more by being more comfortable in her own skin. Well, despite the fact that this can help others feeling the same way. Applaud Caitilyn, and be happy about her. Applaud Akon, for helping others. Don't make it an either/or thing since both are stamping their feet on the ground to help others. Although Caitlyn Jenner's cover is a big moment and will go a long way in helping transgender acceptance, Akon's doing some pretty amazing work that isn't anywhere near as publicised as it should be. Yes, what Akon is doing is extremely important and it definitely should be getting more media coverage, but it doesn't mean that Caitlyn's voice being heard and having more trans representation in the media is not important. And besides who cares if Akon gets media attention? The point of helping people isn't to get media attention. Do it for the people you're helping not the ****ing praise. Plain and simple journalism tbh. He's been famous for 20+ years so I'm surprised he doesn't understand how publicity works. Snoop could've just raised awareness for the issue without trying to disregard Caitlyn Jenner.
