I don't think so. As others have said, The Grammy's has many huge stars with big fan bases, and The Oscars is about the movies and actors, so it would be mainly their fans. I do however think Gaga made the Oscars extra memorable and maybe even the most tweeted event. I also think that because of the constant promotion of her singing during and before the show, that may have given them (or at least they felt) a very slight boost.
