I will try to be clear, but I am on break at work, so limited time to work with. I'm not talking about physical force here, but psychological. Of course, I am not talking about adult or self aware individuals who know this about themselves as they know they breathe and eat.

The reason I bring up youths or teenagers (under 18 years), is because their minds are still developing and the brain reacts to traumatic experiences in various ways. Bullying is a type of trauma, but they are other sources of abuse (like from parents, family members, teachers, coaches, ministers,  priests, and etc). The mind can be conditioned to accept or reject things about themselves based on a mixture of positive and negative conditioning. For example, let's say a mother had a baby boy, but she really wanted a girl for whatever reason and proceeds to treat a boy as if he was a girl. Another example is a coach who treats a trainee like a girl cause he's "not manly enough" for the team.I'm not even going to get into how rape affects people in the extreme case. These are hypothetical examples that illustrate that the subject of gender isn't always black and white. It's great to embrace s-xual identity from an acceptance and social equality standpoint and I support Jenner's decision. However, I can see how this sort of thing could confuse fragile minds out there effected by trauma. There's more to this life than a show or slogan. And the real world isn't pretty in many respects.

Nope. I stated that that minority has nothing to do with Bruce and should not play a role in how Bruce transitioned.

Confused teens are not the same as a grown person who has knows since they were young that they were transgender and were told to hide in the 80's because it wouldn't look good.

If someone is transgender they are transgender. A teen being bullied into transitioning (I've honestly never heard of this, you'd think people would bully them into NOT transitioning) has nothing to do with Bruce Jenner's transition since Bruce was transgender his entire life.

I don't know if I'm understanding you correctly but it's coming across as if you're saying Bruce shouldn't expose this out to the world due to confusing young bullied teens into transitioning?

Do your own research.

This is like when people say: gays shouldn't be on TV because kids will think it is normal and the whole world will be gay and the human race will end.

http://dailycaller.com/2015/06/01/caitlyn-jenner-is-the-greatest-female-athlete-of-all-time/

It’s official. Caitlyn Jenner is now the greatest female athlete of all time.

In new rankings released Monday by The Daily Caller, Jenner far surpasses such female sporting luminaries as Mia Hamm and Babe Didrickson Zaharias in every quantifiable category.

The evidence is clear. Jenner is the only woman in Olympic history to finish a full decathlon, boldly breaking down barriers at the 1976 Montreal Games by defeating male athlete Guido Kratschmer of West Germany. In scoring a then-world record 8,616 points in the event, Caitlyn proved that one woman can set a new standard for ALL of the 31 different gender classifications.

ok y'all

i want to be happy for caitlyn and all but this is hard to forget

Bruce Jenner has just been hit with a wrongful death lawsuit by the stepchildren of the woman who died in the Malibu car crash ... TMZ has learned.

The 2 adult stepkids of Kim Howe have filed a lawsuit, claiming Bruce was "careless and negligent" when he slammed into Howe's Lexus on PCH  back in February, causing it to careen into oncoming traffic where it collided head on with a Hummer.

As TMZ reported, law enforcement sources say video of the crash squarely lays blame on Bruce for being inattentive. They say he just wasn't looking when he struck the Lexus.

The lawsuit claims Bruce was speeding, however, that contradicts what law enforcement told us ... that Bruce was driving below the speed limit.

I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

You would rather not have high profile trans individuals on magazine covers because their image may reinforce gender confusion in victims of physiological abuse? Is that your argument?

What an absolutely peculiar thing to say.

Caitlyn looks stunning in these photographs, Diane Sawyer and her bleak pant suit can suck an egg.

I'm I the only one who thinks she looks a bit like the singer Lana Del Rey? And a little like Jessica Lange as well...those are good ppl to look alike :P

It's nice that hardly anybody is giving her a hard time through this...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.
