The sales this album got directly came from the hype of her previous era, the Fame/FameMonster, not so much from the music itself. Teenage Dream has 4 big hits and two moderate, but still big, hits.The impact on pop culture is way bigger for Teenage Dream than BTW, even if Gaga was bigger back then, the singles from TD will be way more remembered by the general public than the BTW's ones.
