Constructive criticism is when you tell someone your opinion of something in a nice way while offering advice as to how to improve it, and highlighting both the positives and the negatives. If someone were to say "I think the album is soulless, because *whatever*, but I think if she did *whatever* it'd be better, however I did like *whatever*" that would be constructive criticism

Yes that's right. And you started by saying 'I think'. All I'm trying to say is that when you say 'It is Bla Bla' I doesn't necessarily come off as an opinion but it can sound like a fact especially when you criticize someone who's giving a presentation or something. That's all

​I actually think that it is a very mature album. The songs themselves might sound very fun and energetic melodically and sonically, but her lyrics are quite mature in my opinion. Take Swine for example. If you tell the GP to listen to that song they might hear an edm pop song, but underneath that, her lyrics are extremely personal and angry. I actually think ARTPOP is her most mature album to date. And I guess that makes sense cause she is more of an adult now than she was when she released all her other previous albums and it really shows in my opinion.

Yes I agree but I was just joking with the "lacks maturity" comment cuz that's how Gaga described the EARLY concept of ARTPOP... Hence I put at the end

I was listening to ARTPOP the other day, and actually, the album itself is probably the most mature record Gaga has ever put out (not vocally, but musically and melodically), especially with such songs as Venus, Sexxx Dreams, DWUW, ARTPOP, et cetera. It has very good melodies, the vocals are astonishing and the songs just really take you within them, and once you finish listening to the whole thing, you feel like the time you've spent listening wasn't wasted. You know, it feels the same, like after you've watched a good movie,or finished reading a good book.

ARTPOP is quality music, with lots of emotion and lots of artistic joy put in there.

ARTPOP is probably her most personal piece of work yet. It hurts me to see people rip it apart because I connected with that album so deeply after SwineFest. Every song has a sadness and a passion to it that I don't see that often. You can really tell she poured her all into that album. ​
