Those talking about the old Gaga...

Starting from the BTW era (with the spectacular exception of the Fame perfume) it's been a non-creative un-Gaga mess:

Compared to the commercial events she did during TF/first half of TFM when she still had her mysterious Gaga persona on to make it interesting, quirky and fabulous in its own way, these are just run-of-the-mill celebrity bores.

Tbh opening up her heart and becoming more sensitive destroyed her goddess like aura

She needs to build the mystery and suspense around her once again

**** you! You aidsy ****s have so much criticism for a woman who's trying to expand her impact in various industries so get the **** out of here with that "artistic integrity" bull**** when, truthfully, it does not dictate who Gaga is. You brain dead, disabled bastards think you know what's good for Gaga but you don't. Let her, the ARTIST, do what she wants to do and you continue failing in school and getting sacked from every job you ever try. **** you

True

Fans should be able to pick out flaws and advise her to better them

I don't like fans who are basically agreeing to whatever she is doing

She makes mistakes too

It's our duty to help her solve them out

That moment when your favorite artist promotes her dog more than her recent pop era. :fat:

Honestly, I don't think she needs to be 'mysterious' to be interesting and 'Gaga' anymore. When you've been out in the open for nearly 8 years, it's going to be hard to keep an air of mystery about yourself. Personally I like that she's let her self seem more real now and is broadening what she does. I'm certainly glad she's nothing like she was in that F1 advert. And besides, it's not like she can't be weirder and more generically 'Gaga' on the next album. If she isn't 'your Gaga' anymore, you're probably going to have to get used to it.

I love the new Gaga more because since Cheek toCheek she is making songs with great vocals. Like TIHTY. The vocals aremind-blowing. I can't wait for her new music. I'm glad CTC happened because she herself finally realised how omnipotent her voice is. And I love how she made a dog clothing line. She's Lady Gaga. Who else will start a clothing line for dogs if she isn't 'Gaga'?

I just don't see the purpose of this line. It's probably overpriced since she's so focessed on "luxary". Dogs don't enjoy it.

She could've also used this time to promote the BTW foundation or to create something fun and innovative for that (even merch or w/e). Her motives to do something like this and spend so much time and effort on it seem twisted.

She always said that she has so many creative ideas and barely gets the time to execute them all. Why spend your precious time on something like this, when she can actually do something that contributes to the world. I understand that this is a fun sideproject for her, but it just seems so trivial for her standards.

It's her life and I know it's not our place to judge her, but as a fan who's very devoted to her I'm just dissapointed that she's acting like a celebrity instead of an artist - something she has always been opposed to.

I LOVE how people who always bash other users when they say that they want the OLD Gaga  from the fame and the fame monster back, are the same people that now are saying that since the Born This Way era everything she does is so un-Gaga and want the old Gaga back

Some of you try to overthink this too much. Gaga is not only a musician and an artist, she is also an entrepreneur, someone who likes to CREATE business. Creation process and talent can take multiple forms and this is one dimension of Gaga I'm fascinated with. You can dismiss this side of Gaga all you want or wish, this how and what she is nevertheless.

IA. I don't understand the fans who complain about the lack of mystery. She's been in the public eye for years now, the rock has been lifted. She'll never be as mysterious as she was when she was first introduced to the world.

...

Anyway OT: On the surface this seems like a waste of time on her part (even though she's hired a professional to handle the marketing of it). I wonder if it will even last for very long before she becomes somewhat bored of it.

Overall though, I don't see it as greed, just a genuine love for her dog and a potentially decent money making venture. We all know Gaga likes to put her own money to good use for her shows and MVs, so if this helps kick in some extra money for any of that I don't see the harm. Plus she intends on donating a percentage of proceeds to shelter organizations, so that nice too.

It is for opinions. That is the whole point of a forum :smh:
