I have plenty of black friends, in fact, my best friend is black! But..." then they proceed to make a racist remark.This has nothing to do with the topic tho. Just pointing something out. OT: She got overexposed and burnt out real quick. LoveandMagic 1,731 Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 Perhaps her and her team thought it was best for her to disappear for awhile, regroup, and come back with a solid plan. If I were her, I would be focused on possible re-branding, and definitely be working on new material. If she wants to be well-respected as an artist, I would recommend taking a huge hands-on approach with her work, try to create something fresh and definitely pen a lot of her own lyrics. Maybe she should try to work with up-and-comers or unknowns in the industry? I think this is a great way to find new sounds and build cred. I would also recommend hiring a top-notch PR/management team. The music should be the first priority, but she will need some image clean up in the meantime to create a smooth pathway for her music. Once the album is finish, she should slowly build up hype for it, playing small venues impromptu to get honest audience reactions (and in that matter she should probably also hire some sort of coach) but later getting some television spots to draw back in public interest. I recommend small venues because she should work on her free styling and really get her performance down to the "T". I also recommend non-arena/stadium venues for touring. Selling those out will make money and look better on paper. I think these things could help her. With all these set backs/cancellations, bad performances, negative talk/accusations, she really needs to focus on cleaning that mess up (because it will overshadow much of her efforts), however if the music is really good, that will help in a major, major way. She needs really good music and tight performances. I hope she is up to the challenge. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
