shannonlana 4
I don't think I'd want it any different tbh. I love ARTPOP and I adored artRAVE. But obviously it would have been better for Gaga's sake if she didn't have the depression and her injury etc
Bradley 59,639
There wouldn't be Katy Perry competition = successThis probably is the most accurate answer.
Jay.P 2,336
Well, most songs on ARTPOP were written before her injury (except maybe DWUW, Dope, and Venus) Do you hear that? It's poison.
Cupid Boy 410
i don't think so ... Before the events of hip injury, some of the rumors/blogger were reported that Gaga wants to feel a loser singer on upcoming album for a Reason .
tomfrench 5
The theme would have been about getting high and the fall of the pop star as planed first... we won't ever heat those songs related to this theme
hauntlikegaga 13
Seriously love your view on it! Quite like mine tbh. I think the ARTPOP era was perfect in its imperfections and the so called "mess" made it more poetic and the artRAVE certainly summed it all up nicely! It was definitely the era that showed her true friends and little monsters vs the "judas" in her life :) Yeah completely agree! It's a shame how people seem to try & perpetuate this idea that whole era was a 'flop', like since when did selling millions of albums become a flop move?! Alfonso 1,551
I feel like it would've started off pretty much identical, Gaga's always used music to relieve herself from sadness, "my pain exploding in electronic music" etc (I think that's the quote from the ARTPOP film?)it just may have taken a different direction as the era progressed. She'd have been a bit more confident in what she was doing. Having said that though I think the ARTPOP era went beautifully in the end: just look at the artRave as the culmination of it all, just amazing! This
