As for the film, I would probably go see Pitch Perfect (I hear good things, I like the cast, and it looks kind of funny), but I'm not a big fan of musicals. It does it count as a musical, right? I really have to be in the mood to watch most musicals, or movies with lots of singing, even ones I love like My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, Annie, and White Christmas. About the only ones I watch with any regularity is Rocky Horror Picture Show, Burton's Sweeney Todd, and Nightmare Before Christmas. I have though always wanted to see Spam-a-Lot and The Book of Mormon. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
