Dwayne Johnson shocks superfan by officiating his ‘epic surprise’ wedding

Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson gave a superfan the surprise of a lifetime.

The “San Andreas” star shocked comedian Nick Mundy with a “prank it forward” by officiating his wedding.

A longtime fan of Johnson, Mundy had developed a "bromance" with the movie star after interviewing him over the years.

So when Johnson was asked to participate in Mundy's big day, he was so enthused by the idea that he got ordained so he could officiate.

Mundy was unaware he was showing up to his own wedding when he was sent by the movie site Screen Junkies to interview Johnson about his latest action flick.

As part of the ruse, Johnson’s team pulled the plug on the interview, leaving Mundy dejected about the shoot getting canceled.

So he was shocked when his idol suddenly showed up — dressed in a tuxedo.

“I’ve got a little surprise for you,” Johnson said.

“Just when you thought the day was going to be terrible, it actually is going to be the greatest day of your life,” he told Mundy, before ushering him into in his wedding.

 

 

During the ceremony, the movie star jokingly plugged “San Andreas” while officiating Mundy’s wedding to his fiancée Dilara.

“Nothing is more powerful than your union, carries more force than a bolt of lightning or even the world’s largest earthquake, much like the ones you’ll see in ‘San Andreas,’” he said.

Johnson was proud to participate in Mundy's wedding, tweeting, “Coolest day ever and we pulled off the near impossible.”

“Not only an epic surprise, but I officially became ordained to legally marry them. I'm now (available) for weddings,” he added
