Yaşlığıma toyalmadım
Men bu yerde yaşalmadım

:firega::firega::firega::firega:

the song contains so much emotion, and you could detect the pain in her eyes when she sang it thinking about how her great-grandmother was one of the deportees during the crimean deportation. i love everything about the song, performance, artist and message.

I voted a lot for Ukraine tonight. I'm so happy for you! Congratulations

I also made a promise to myself earlier today. That was that if Ukraine won, I will go there next year

I want to go to Kyiv (Or maybe Lviv?) too! Only thing is I will have end-of-highschool exams those weeks :cryga: Kyiv sounds so amazing. I heard they have a new cuddly police, big hipster and gay scene and it is also very beautiful itself in architecture and other forms of culture.

That's a rip off. I'm done with this new voting system. The gap between judges and public vote is WAY TOO big.

MTE

Australia should've won. It's only fair. But I could tell from miles away Australia wouldn't win. They wouldn't allow it. I'm sure the tele-voting is rigged.

I turned my TV off after we knew Australia wouldn't win and won't be watching next year.

This is just... such a lame excuse to use when your fav doesn't win. You do right in not watching next year :smh:

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

I would've felt the same regardless of to whom it happened. The whole voting system has become **** tbh. Of course they don't want AUSTRALIA to win the EUROvision. And the Ukraine vs Russia makes great TV drama. Use your brain. Don't just believe everything.

Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about.

Oh come on, Australia should've won?? Dami was great and the song was ok, but it was SO not winner material if you compare it to the song, performance, the visuals and the whole impact of Jamala & Ukraine. When I first heard the song I knew it was gonna score very high and when I saw the brilliant performance I was just blown away and knew it has to win.

I think that one of the biggest reasons that gave Ukraine the 1st place was the fact that, for example, so many people from Latvia (even me and my whole family) voted for the first time ever and our votes all went to Ukraine. That's the same with the whole Eastern Europe. I mean, even RUSSIA gave Ukraine 10 points in the televoting part.

I think the voting this year was actually the best system yet.

Tele-votes have a tendency to be far too influenced by geography and politics, and so having the professional panel helped even things out. The way they announced it this year also kept it more exciting.

The fact that Ukraine won makes me cringe so hard :air: Such a boring song, seriously so bad :duck: It makes me wonder how much the votes were rigged. Did you notice that Ukraine and Russia were the last countries competing against each other? Eurovision is always a political competition too... :madge: Anyway, the songs from Hungary and Malta are the only ones that ended up on my playlist :sis:

Dami Im killed it. Honestly .... What a voice!!!

Not being biased because I AM Australian but I really do think Dami should have won. The vocals/song were much better then Ukraine's .... I appreciate the sentiment behind the song but just think Dami's song was much better.

Such an achievement seeing this time 3 years ago nobody knew who Dami was. She is amazing!

Guys... Rigged or not, the voting system hasn't changed, compared with the last 5 or 6 years :toofunny:Half the points come from televoting, the other half from jury. They just changed the way to annouce it : before, they pooled everything together, this time they announced both parts separately. Jury and public have just as much respective influence as before... Try and sum up all the points given by jury, and all the points given by the public and you'll see...

Regardless, I wanted the cute swedish one to win :gaycat: Oh well

The voting system has not changed lol. They just doubled the points available. They could have halved all the points of the initial system. Basically the same so stop complaining about the new system
