I only know from mods retelling the stories and people who experienced it personally. Appearently the mods had meltdowns and were rushing to perma ban the account for the leak (because it was an actual leak). We didn't find out until the ARTPOP era ended that Gaga herself leaked Aura because she was mad at her label for not letting her release it as ARTPOP's lead single. It was a hot topic back then, weren't as active back then? I've been wondering about this... PARTYNAUSEOUS was an instant fan favorite ever since we first heard it. Highly requested to leak from everybody, lots of speculations for who the collab really is / could be etc.etc.etc. But not until today, the original version was never heard. All of sudden, however, Gaga retweets this: And then bam, hours later we got PARTYNAUSEOUS. Discuss No. Neither Gaga nor Kendrick camp did it. Mindtrappa from the Pop Justice fourm: "Yeah, this had nothing to do with Gaga. The track has been doing the rounds for years, and nobody outside a few hip-hop insiders had it, until it finally spread out last week. The person who leaked it has been known for being attached to some of hip-hop's biggest stars. He also leaked the Drake and Beyoncé demo, some other snippets from his upcoming LP, and a few other Kendrick tracks with "Partynauseous"This version of the song is not something she'd put out, since this is the version Kendrick's producer and Gaga fought over. She doesn't like this cut."
