Back in the days dolphin was one of the few source of food in Faroe Island and they still eat it but much less, however the tradition is still there, I don't know how often it happens. But Faroe Island are very special. I have some friends that have been there and it's quite depressing, it's very beautiful but so small and not much to do... my friend said she had never seen that many drunk people in the daytime, from children to adult. I guess we can't really understand why they keep doing it if aren't part of the culture but yeah it's a bloody mess.
