I love a katy (she's my 3rd fave) but her being above Gaga is utter bs

It doesn't say if they based these findings on the artists singles or specifically, their hit singles. It just says they graded their lyrics. If that's the case, this study is completely bogus. I don't know what they've been listening to in Gaga's discography but if they think any of the artists above her display more intelligence, they are clearly biased. If it's based off of hit singles, maybe it's a bit more understandable (not so much in Katy's case, though - her biggest hits were some of her most childish lyrics) but not completely. Something is not right with this study. And for the last time, Adele is not pop. Soul pop is not a thing. She's neo-soul, not pop. And where is Taylor in this list? If it's based on the 7 most popular artists at the time, she should be here. Considering how much the media kisses up to her, I expected her to be top 3.
