Rome 176
"Would you love me no matter what"? - Lady Gaga. I'd love and support gaga no matter what, that included buying her music, even if its not necessarily my cup of tea. As before, my point in this article is: If you're going to sit around complaining about Gaga not being on top and being all over media with number one songs, then do something about it, buying her music will get her to the top, supporting her no matter what. Don't be lazy and just complain about Gaga. She does so much for us, we should reciprocate that.Come on ... a fan base can not create a hit. It´s irrelevant and pointless for example to request a song to a radio station if the people that listen to the radio don't like the song. Anyways, you have to be very young to say that you would by music even if you don´t like it. I wouldn't waste my money in anything that i dislike even if it´s from Gaga. Ambrosia 3,775
Well, the bottom line is... entertainers know up front what kind of business they are stepping into. It's a very finicky career they have chosen which could put them on top of the world one day, then throw them under the bus the next. We are certainly not obligated to purchase anything if we don't wish and as for social media, that doesn't do a whole lot in terms of achieving success. Quality music stands the test of time, but the social media comments won't be remembered past a few months if that. Dangle good music in front of folks like dangling a carrot in front of a bunny, and they will follow. Do not do to others what angers you if done to you by others. -Socrates
Born To Slay 10,996
She's just not nearly as relevant as she used to be, lbr here Gaga has lost a lot of popularity and her career as a major star is in jeopardy. The ARTPOP era, while successful, was a massive step down. It's clear her star power had dimished greatly. In 2013, she was overshadowed by everyone. Katy, Miley, Beyonce, hell even Britney got as much press that year. In 2014, she was a non factor to the most of the GP. In 2015 besides her Oscar performance, she's done nothing to interest the public. It's been over a year since her last radio hit (and even that wasn't a big one). She's literally had like one big hit since 2011. The decline is real.
Fanta 5,019
No, because as huge as her fanbase is the GP played a part in her success. They were intrigued by her. Gaga is clearly not doing what she did back during her first few albums, and what's partly to blame is not her fans but the terrible management.Watch when she puts out another hit the GP will eat her up and she'll be the 'it' girl again. Nein 508
Some fans are obviously lazy like some of the people here, I mean, some people are only here to rip stuff, and constantly push the blame of floppings to other things when the problem lies with themselves I dont get it why you think when success happens with the GP when IT TAKES TWO HANDS TO CLAP I understand the GP's support is important, but if you fks think that everything must lie with the GP then youre simply just obnoxious and stupid
Matt 460
I think a lot of the fans that were disappointed in ARTPOP's era and don't like CTC have left for now. Also, I think Gaga's fan base has gotten older and maybe don't care about fan awards and trends anymore as much as they once did.

(also add Robin Thicke to the list of 2013 overshadows) IMO, the hip injury blackout of 2012-13 is what hurt her. She fell off the face of the Earth for a while and then was she was back, the GP was like "Oh, whatever..." Plus, she didn't really have any kind of salvation to launch her back into chart-topper territory if something flopped (like Katy releasing Dark Horse). Her latest radio hit with longevity is The Edge of Glory.
Neal 768
Definitely. Saying YASS GAGA YOU LOOK SO GOOD don't equate to Billboard No 1s so step it up.

djBuffoon 12,120
Lazy in the respect that, unless Gaga literally explains what the song means and how it fits into the album, they are quick to accuse the work of lacking cohesion.

FameHungry 146
I'd say it's because most of the other fanbases are filled with younger fans who have a lot of free time on their hands. Most monsters actually have **** to do
