Have Monsters become LAZY?

There are many more important things in life to worry about than a lady gaga song charting number one or trending her on a social networking website or winning awards. Get a job, go out, go to the gym, read a book. Many of us are too busy with our own lives to worry about such nonsense that Gaga doesn't even care about.

Yes monsters are fat and lazy.

They should hit the gym sometimes.

I support her but it's not my job to keep her on top of the charts. That little extra push needs to come from the GP. If they're not into it, there's not much we can do about it.

I rather send most of my time on my own career than on Gaga's tbh.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

It's not our job to get Gaga's music to the top of the charts  Our job if anything is supporting Gaga in the aspects of her career that we personally enjoy, and that's still a choice rather than an obligation  And if you don't enjoy certain aspects then wish her the best and wait/move on

I wouldn't say lazy, I just think people don't really care about #1 trends or fan base awards as much as they used to - I mean do they really matter at the end of the day?

If it's not the fans job to buy Lady Gaga's music, then who the hell's job is it? If you call yourself a Monster, it most certainly is your job to support Gaga and buy the music.

Why should there be dependence on the general public? Monsters boast and brag about being the best fambase and sometimes it's our behavior that turns people off from Gaga, Gaga specifically says she makes music for the fans, so it's so ungrateful how Monsters beg Gaga to make the music they want and then sh*t all over it if it's not number one. The fans need to step up and quit using the general public as a scapegoat for everything.

Not lazy but smaller

So our fanbase is shrinking while everyone else's is getting larger?

So Monsters want Gaga to make a pop record so it appeals to the masses and gets to number one but they don't want to do anything to help Lady Gaga get to the spot THEY want her to? Ok. Oh yeah, Gaga's just going to magically float to the top spot where Monsters want her without people buying her music. Whatevs. :bye:

I hear you and absolutely agree with you, I've said the same thing before, it's just that in today's culture so much emphasis is put on these things, on chart performance and who can get what trending on Twitter, in media and the world we live in today, success is defined by insignificant things like Twitter followers and trends and who has the top spot and I feel this has led to the conception, or rather misconception that Lady Gaga's fame is waning and fading, that she is no longer as "relevant" anymore. So many Monsters also put so much emphasis on these things and always point out facts about Lady Gaga not being number one on the chart and use it to factor in whether or not they like her music.
So many monsters want Lady Gaga to make another pop record because it'll get her back on top, defining her value as a musician and artist by what number she is or how many records she sells.
There are other things to think about and we have other things going on but and we know there are more important things to worry about but media and pop culture doesn't get it, everything is based on social media and the charts. So little is actually put on talent an artist possesses and all the focus is on charts and social media and YouTube views. Can Lady Gaga get back to the top without Monsters supporting her how we used to? Without doing what other fanbases do, such as trending silly things and getting Gaga tons of views on YouTube? That's all I'm saying here.

It's the people's job who enjoy the music, fan or not  The way I see it is if you don't enjoy a certain song/album then you don't have to purchase it, regardless of whether you're a fan or not

People have lost interest in her, that's all.

2015 disagrees with you

Well, Gaga has been declining since 2012. What do you expect? The fanbase to grow?

I don't think Monsters are lazy. It's years later, many have taken on more responsibilities in their daily lives so that they can't devote themselves fully to promoting an artist, and that's actually a good thing. I don't think Gaga would expect people to do anything less than live their lives with the ambition of bettering themselves, whether it's a new job, college, more classes, more activities, raising a family, etc. It's just the natural course of things. As long as people support Gaga by buying her music, tickets, and maybe catching a movie or show, or two, I think that's all she expects from her fans.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

I agree

And as a few users have already said: We shouldn't forget that we aren't the ones who bring her at the top of the Charts.. It's mainly the GP.
