She has been an inspiring figure in my life and I have striven to adopt her messages of kindness and acceptance. Unfortunately, I feel that some of her fans stray from the love that unites us from time to time. I see too much hate on other artists, fans, and on mother monster herself. There is a difference between constructive criticism and simply being negative. I truly believe that Little Monsters are the most beautiful group of fans in the world. Please remember that she sometimes reads what you are writing. Would you say that to her face? Would your words add to her culture of acceptance and love? Please do not let her down. She believes in the goodness of her fans and so do I! This right here is the kind of positivity we need in GGD! We shouldn't tear other artist's down and we shouldn't make the relevancy of an artist depend on their position on the music charts. Also, we should learn to respect other people's opinions and we should strive to empathize with one another. Let's spread positivity and joy around the world one sequin at a time! Whatevs. Lady Gaga has been a strong advocate of always expressing one's opinion even if it's not the most popular, she has always been an advocate for freedom of speech and equal rights so people can express themselves in which ever way they choose. The thing she did on twitter where she wanted people to stop attacking others is completely different from expressing opinions. She didn't necessarily dislike negative opinions, its when Monsters would purposely attack someone for no reason, I feel that was reflective of what was going on in her life at the time, she was feeling attacked by people at the label and around her, and she didn't want to see us doing it on twitter. Lady Gaga herself has went after people on twitter and tweeted negative things about people. I'm not going to repress or oppress personal opinions because they might upset someone. That is what her fans must take example of. Than blindly follows everything she said or done. Which sooner or later can grow out since you don't do it from the heart but by order. Which is why bandwagon fans happens. Be smart. Just be yourself, embrace who you are. And enjoy the ride. The point is to be respectful in what you say - which can both be a compliment or critisism. It's o.k. to not agree or to dislike something Gaga does. It's also o.k. to speak up about it and take part in discussion. But be respectful and don't say things that you wouldn't also say to someone in person.
