So many things would have been different if I hadn’t experienced failure - the way I live my life and my resilience - and if I hadn’t been harshly criticized every step of the way. So that’s what gives me faith that even if you made a mistake in the past, or you didn’t do something quite as well as you wanted to, these are things we learn from - it’s not useless.

This girl truly doesn't live on the same planet as the rest of us. She takes the littlest things and turns them into tragedies and takes herself way too seriously. So you didn't win AOTY. You've won already. 98% of the winners never win again. The only ones who have won more than once in the 56 years of the awards are Frank Sinatra (3 wins), Stevie Wonder (3 wins), Paul Simon (2 wins) and U2 (2 wins). And Stevie was the only one to have near enough consecutive wins - everyone else had more years in between. If anyone was going to break that spell, it wasn't going to be Taylor Swift. She'd also not won anything else all night, so how did she think she was in with a chance? (I know Arcade Fire won after not winning all night, but that's a once in a lifetime thing). If she seriously thinks not securing a second AOTY win is a failure, man has she been sheltered. And I think it also proves that it is true, she does expect awards and is annoyed when she doesn't, and her shocked reactions are all fake.

Taylor Swift's only "failure" in life is her inability to hold down a relationship longer than 3 months. She got a recording contract while she was still a teenager and is in complete control at her label. Throughout her entire career, all she's had is commercial success, critical acclaim, awards, loyal fans and a multi-million fortune. That is an amazing existance that can only be claimed by the 1% of the world. Don't confuse "failure" with "a bit of bad luck" and "not getting everything you want," Taylor. This is why I don't get why her fans claim she's just like them and so down-to-earth. Fame and money has clearly changed her and she's living in cloud-cuckoo celebrity land.

UMMM does sis Taylor consider RED a pure country album, cause to me sounded like the prequel to 1989. So I feel like 1989 was such an obvious move and something predictable regardless of her winning the award or not. As much as I love 1989 I still am sad that I didn't get the album I was expecting. So you know how we got Safe&Sound and Eyes Wide Open those slayed me to shreds so I thought on the next album she'd go for that haunting melodic sound and I thought the theme would be tragic and that she would serve some twisted princess realness. Taylor should really reconsider the whole pop route thing. We all know how POP works, the bigger the star the bigger the target. I guess you can say that applies to all genres but we all know how POP can become basic and superficial at times that the artists becomes a robot that cannot break free. ARTPOP was considered a flop due to the standards her previous pop records set otherwise it did better than tons of albums. Kesha is another example she has talents in the rock genre but was banned from exploring it. Long story short the more pop taylor does the harder it will be to get back to country which is sad cause Taylor swift revolutionized country music the same way Gaga did to POP.

I know what it's like to get your hopes up and then lose but I would never call those moments failures, just a shame. And she could list on a napkin corner the amount of criticisms she's had to endure in her life.

Sorry, but maybe she has trouble maintaining a relationship? That doesn't automatic mean she's a bad person. I agree she should do some soul searching, but she's only 26 and she can have fun if she wants. People were constantly making fun of how many guys she's dated and I'm sure that wasn't fun for her.
