Not at all. You have to remember the context of the time period of when this album was released. She and her music were so different. She seemed like an alien from the future.

Obviously..... NOT.. :awkney: And really? Do people think that The Fame has fillers? I can hardly find 1-2 fillers on the whole album

Hell to the NO, I know ARTPOP gets its unjustified hate very much, but labeling FameGa basic is not a proper way to defend it... I say this because I know this is where this is all coming from :sis:

I don't find it basic at all! The looks, the videos, the music, it's all iconic and fun! The Fame was Gaga as a fresh futuristic pop dance diva, then The Fame Monster took that imagery and spun it on it's head, over diva-fying it to the point of eye/ear-burning perfection! Both eras were great, and while I have no desire for Gaga to go back to the exact imagery and sound of The Fame, it's an era that I don't feel she should find "basic" or "below par". It help set the bar and made pop fun again. It was/is great pop music, and while she continues to progress as an artist, her prior work still stands on it's own two feet, singing and dancing with it's back to the wind and face toward the sun!

I love/d Fame-ga.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

Technically it has none, since the album has a clear concept and each track ties into it. Whether all those tracks are great is down to personal preference

No, I think it's nice, she was young and funny and fresh for a pop star, yes it's commercial but I think you can say her music is mainstream even today.
