JusKeepBreathin 19,311
Please? It's on car,it's in shops,it can be pretty much everywhere.. You might not personally use it. But you listen to it everywhereWhat Shops is not Radio...Stores purchase playlists to play in their shops. It's a playlist that gets sent to them on a monthly or bimonthly basis. Radio is not everywhere. You are being really vague. blacklistedd 599
Normally KISS-FM stations are a brand, all linked off of the flagship KIIS-FM. This one in Milwaukee is a strange anomaly though, because they don't have ties to KIIS-FM.so they just call themselves kiss? its strange that theyd get away with that lol

MGC 226
Who the hell cares? I don't understand why radio has such a hold on music. No one listens to radio anymore. To gage musics popularity by radio is ridiculous. It means 50 to 60 year old white men are telling us what's popular and what we "should be listening to." Also streaming is killing radio just as much as its killing album sales. Why should I put on the radio and wait for a song when I can listen to what I want when I want it. Billboard need to adjust the formula that it has to rank singles on the Hot100 to give radio less of the impact it deserves. I can't wait until the day cars come with Spotify, Tidal or Beats streaming service for free for the first 5 years. Good bye radio! That started happening. Some Ford models here in Europe comes with a built in spotify app. About the OP it doesn't make sense to me. I mean, If people are requiring it why not to play it? Arturo 40,746
Pretty Girls is not a hit single in my opinion so they have the right to refuse it.Actually, the only reason why Pretty Girls may reach a high chart position is because thousands of hardcore Britney fans will madly support it and then Britney fans will claim "Pretty Girls did well because it is a good song" and reference chart rankings. This world is so sick.Your second statement is correct. Pretty Girls' debut will be fueled by Britney and Iggy fans. But that's the way it is with virtually any pop star's lead single. Your first statement is incorrect for the time being because you can't just say it's not a hit single less than 48 hours after its release. One could have used the same reasoning for Applause since it was already plummeting at this moment showing that it was only purchased by fans in the beginning. Only after a few weeks is it when one is able to determine whether a song is going to be a hit or not. Longevity/prolonged public interest make a hit. Songs like Applause managed to have longevity and prove itself as a true hit. Judging solely off Applause's first week definitely wouldn't have made anyone think it'd chart so well for so long. So this early on in the game it is literally impossible to label Pretty Girls as a hit or flop.
