I remember the moment I turned into the fan I am today like it was yesterday - the Paparazzi video premiere. I remember being so in awe of it, and I pretty much watched it on a damn loop.

Meeting her back in 2010 was honestly one of the best nights of my life. It was a few days before the Alejandro video premiere and she LoveGame strutted down the stairs of her hotel (which was so ****ing cool) - she kept asking us if we were excited for the vid. Everybody was freaking out so hard, I don't think she ever got an answer tbh. I'd go on about the experience but I've told it so many times, I'm sure 99% of you know the night better than I do! :smh:

I don't know about the experience, please do tell

you can do that on status too though.

Statuses go out to the whole forum, this is just for the people who'll visit here for random tidbits of Gaga talk :laughga:

Anyone remember her music video premiers?

I remember the Telephone video premiered at 11PM on E! in March 2010 and I stayed up to watch it. It was worth it!

I also remember Judas premiering on E! May 5?, 2011 and it was early like around 5 and I rushed home from school to watch it.

The memories :)

I remember waking up and recording the Telephone video on my phone to watch on the bus to school because I didn't have enough time to rip it :laughga:

And running home from school so I could get home to see Alejandro debut. I text my brother in advance to set everything up so I could go straight to it

The things us fans do when new things come out :rip:

I remember when BTW premiered like around 6AM in the morning when I had to go to school I loaded this crappy quality video of the song and heard it on there while on my way to school :lmao:

It was so bad too. Like the vocals were raspy but it sounded like heaven to me.

Oscar

She's more of a Cyndi Lauper.

There's definitely some bowie in there too

I was ill at home when BTW came out so I didn't have to worry about that  but I was on holiday when Judas came out and a good friend had to send me an MP3 to my phone and I listened to it non-stop for the rest of the trip :toofloppy:

I was on holiday again when the BTWB tickets came out and nobody could save me then :noparty: I was abroad that time

EDIT: OR WHEN I WAS WALKING MY DOGS WHEN APPLAUSE CAME OUT. We had been out for 5 minuites when my friend text me saying it had just been released. I was like "sorry girls [dogs]" and ran straight home :messga:

Back in the summer of 2010 we went to see TMB in Manchester. We met up with some amazing GGD members, although unfortunately a couple of them turned out to be rather vile. The show was absolutely incredible - honestly, the moment that curtain went up and Dance In The Dark started...**** me, that was some heavy ****. Seeing your idol so close (we had an amazing standing spot because we'd queued for hours and hours) was just surreal and beyond words. My friend passed out because of the heat half-way through the show which was kinda awks but we didn't let that step us from having an amazing time.

The next night we went and waited outside Gaga's hotel for a couple of hours because we didn't attend the second show. After a while the hotel staff came out and ushered us in - Ed was waiting and told us to wait in a line. We were all TOTALLY freaking out. A minute later, she appears, like a Goddess at the top of this flight of stairs. We all scream, she LoveGame struts down to us all, and she just came over and chatted like we'd all known her for years. She asked if we enjoyed the show, how excited we were for the Alejandro video, how long we'd been waiting, etc. She's SO tiny in real life. I couldn't even function properly - when she asked me what my name was, I could barely say "Jason" - she was all "Jesse?" :lmao: - then when I took a picture of Gaga and my friend, my hands legit couldn't stop shaking and Ed + Pete started laughing (not in a nasty way, thank God!) - I was pretty much a total mess. My first bumbling words to her were "I ****ING LOVE YOU!!!!!!" - She probably thought I was a crazy person.

Anyway, when we all left the hotel, everybody pretty much broke down and started freaking out. It was lovely sharing that moment with genuine, true Gaga fans - not randomers/celeb autograph hunters.

The icing on top of the cake? Going back to our hotel and finding a DM on Twitter to my friends account from Justin Tranter asking us if we'd have liked tickets to the show for that night. Obviously we didn't get to the DM in time because we were outside Gaga's hotel all night, but the fact he took the time to get in touch just made the night even more special. We'd met him and the other SPW guys earlier that afternoon, and they were all super sweet! Obviously we made a lasting impression on him seeing as though he took the time to get in touch.

A magical couple of days which will stay with me for life. I couldn't stop smiling while typing all of that out.

I couldn't stop smiling while reading that, what a beautiful experience  Sorry to hear about some members being sucky, I just hope they aren't here now in that case then :gum: And yeah I know that curtain DITD feeling, with the purple lighting and her silhouette (I'm getting goosebumps just imagining it)

Omg bless you, what a heartwarming reaction to seeing Gaga, and what an amazing experience overall :flutter: I think I remember you saying ages ago that you got ARTPOP Zone for artRave (correct me if I'm wrong)? If I am correct, then did Gaga remember you when you met her backstage? :omg:

I woke up at around 5/6am GMT to watch it... I was gonna watch it once then go to sleep. I loved it so much I watched it on repeat until 8am, when I started school. :pole:

Today, for the first time in a REALLY long time, I heard Gaga playing on two radio stations at the same time! One station was playing The Edge of Glory, the other was playing Just Dance. Kind of wish radio would play "new Gaga" more often, though. Only hearing songs from 2011 and earlier makes it seem like she's being treated like a has-been. So anxious for her next comeback. Not saying that older Gaga songs are bad in any way. Much better than no Gaga at all.

I totally agree, I loved that one :flutter: Her hair at the Oscars reminded me of this actually, I wish it was a more regular thing or that she does something like it for a significant period of time so it becomes one of the more recognised Gaga wigs

Some of my favorite wigs came from BTW. I'm still #TeamSilver.
