Would you still be a stan if Gaga didn't sing live a la Britney?

I know that even if Gaga wrote all her own songs and performed all her sets the exact same I would not be able to call myself a fan if she didn't belt dem high notes live. I don't mean disrespect to Britney fans but I really can not see myself paying money to see someone go on stage just dancing around to the same studio versions of the songs I've heard in my own home a hundred times. Would lip syncing be a deal breaker for you? Or is that not something you would mind that much?

If Gaga performed the way she does now and lip synced I'd be disappointed. If she kept making good music and danced more I wouldn't mind

The MAIN reason why I love this woman is her LIVE singing on her live performances. I would probably ignore her and would just bop to her songs as a casual fan if that happened. :neyde:

I'd be disappointed because I know that Gaga CAN sing live and she can sing live very well, but as long as she puts on a good show with good music I don't think I'd mind if it's live or not really  I'd greatly prefer if it was live, but not being live wouldn't be a deal breaker

if you don't mind me asking are you a big Britney fan? Or a fan of other notorious "lip-syncers"? Because I wonder if their stans feel the same way as you do about this.

I only care about her music. Everything else for me is icing on the top.

:lmao:like they never show her actually playing so this whole time everyones like "wow she's great!" but instead she's just randomly moving her fingers around while a second piano player does the actual notes in the back.

Hmm. Her voice is important, it drew me in.  I don't know if I would be a fan tbh.

That being said old school Britney was an incredible performer. She never had the strongest voice, but she never claimed that's where her talent was.

Christina was the voice, her songs where written by Linda Perry, but her talent was her incredible pipes. Likewise, Britney had people write her songs but when she got on stage and danced it was incredible. She also had the mind of a true performer, she knew how to push buttons, shock and dazzell.

I'm actually surprised that there are not more professionally trained dancers with somewhat decent voices being picked up by record labels. With the right songwriters and producers they could go far.

Hmm probably not a "big" Britney fan, but a casual fan yeah I guess  I haven't ever seen her live and I haven't listened to majority of her albums except for the singles  I don't think I listen to any other performers that mostly lip sync

From a small amount of footage I've seen here and there she puts on one heck of a show, live vocals or not. It's like yes I want a person to sing live, but if the lack of live vocals is compensated for in other areas then I'm totally on board
