Perhaps his best music video since GAOG.

Imo, it is especially if you compare it to the disasters that were Putting Holes in Happiness, Running to the Edge of the World and Arma-goddamn-mother****in-geddon.

I did not understand the video. I still don't know what this album is about, maybe when I read the lyrics at home and read Babalon I'll get more into it, but right now I don't want to ruin any surprises.

The video kind of reminded me of Putting Holes in Happiness and Running to the Edge of the World.

I see nothing on that Manson wiki page, have the content been removed? :omg:

Good video too, btw. I hope the album really kick some ass as they actually promised!

Putting Holes In Happiness was a good enough video. I liked the EMDM era alot.

Arma-Goddam was some kind of "how much of Interscopes budget can we waste on this song I only wrote to piss them off?" mess.

But I really like the Running To The Edge video. I think, because it was so DIY, just him with his own lights and a camera guy and one actress, in a hotel room / his home, I think it's really effective. I like the honesty of him just standing there for so long, it reminds me of Warhol "screen tests" (moving portraits) where celebrities and friends would just sit in front of the camera for an excruciating amount of time. I think it's a very interesting piece of Manson-history, and the only worthwhile video to come out of that album :)

No Reflection is such a great return to form for his videos. Im pretty sure it's referencing the Jonestown massacre. The girls drinking the whatever-it-is and dying. Him reading from the bible-thing (I cant remember what it actually is, some children-orientated bible book). Some kind of cult-leader-vampire-guy ;)

The album itself was influenced by alot of Baudelaire's The Flowers of Evil (/Les Fleurs Du Mal) and I think it really shows in the lyrics!

Also, this was a really cool poetry-reading-thing he did last year, that certainly runs in a similar vein to the album's themes -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xghpb_myA0E "Marilyn Manson Reads The Proverbs of Hell"

I HATE The Putting Holes In Happiness video :eww:

Ruined a good ****ing song ALOT

It's well shot, well produced. I can appreciate for that at least. It's funny how much he's changed (aesthetically) since that video.

More singles pls. Since he said that ever since he released from Interscope, he gained much more freedom.

I would wish for him to become someone radical again.

This video may be a start, i am hoping for some more.

Agreed. That was the best song on that album (arguably because I love Red Carpet Grave a lot, too) and the preview clip before the video was released looked so promising. Video ended up being beyond horrible. That song deserved so much better.
