Is "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" a show or something?

Are there actually people who want to "keep up" with the kardashians? :green:

Yes, it's been on for several seasons. People just want to see what a mess they make of their lives, basically. Reality TV is big.

This is taken so out of context, strategically, I imagine, you have omitted the remainder of this quote.

Quite frankly I'm disgusted that people's compassion here stretches only as far as the LGBT community. You all sit here and mock (might I add that what you're doing is actually bullying) innocent people when all they are trying to do is make a life for themselves, harming nobody in the process.

Also, you are forgetting that Kris and Bruce were married for I think 28 years, clearly this is very difficult for her and to mock her because of it is horrendous and immoral.

With that said, if Bruce is able to tell his story also through reality television, masked as some sort of "documentary", then the rest of the family should also be able to.

If you do not like the Kardashian's, be the mature, compassionate people you all preach to be and simply do not engage yourself.

I agree tbh. From the looks of it, not only are they all reacting extremely positively to Bruce's coming/transition (especially Kim), they are setting up an engaging discussion about LGBT issues. When people decide to come out, the stress isn't rested upon the shoulders of solely the person coming out. The entire family has to deal with it as well. As weird as it is to say, the Kardashians/Jenners are putting a spotlight on a community that is often shunned by the media.

Kris and everyone in the family is handling the situation extremely well. As much tolerance and understanding as people might have for transgenders: if you are married to someone for decades and then this person tells u they wanna become the opposite s-x that must be a shock and hard to deal with. I'm glad they are setting an example like this, who cares if they make money out of it it's gonna help people either way

I'm conflicted.

On one hand, it's a good thing. We need positive, high profile representation and discussions on transgender issues for transgendered people to become more accepted.

Yet, I can't help but feel that the Kardashian's are just exploiting this for the publicity and the money.
