Plus, I think they just respect each other from a distance...Gaga doesn't feel Katy can sing, dance, write her music, and yet she's popular...

So obviously on Katy's side, her and her team, they wanted it to be Gaga vs. Katy.

Katy has made shady comments towards gaga more than gaga has towards Katy

I think the only commercial popstar Gaga actually admires is BEYONCE, I mean at the end of the day Gagas and Bey are the classiest most mature popstars out there. The others though Queens at times have a bit of shade in them.

There are now countless reasons for them to dislike each other. There are these shady tweets and pictures from each side, how media pitted them against each other during the infamous Applause/Roar battle, and if I'm right, there's even a background story with Perez. Idk what it really is, I just remember this pig threatening Gaga with some revelations about the beginning of her career, that had to do with a party where Katy and her were during the OOTB era.

Let's be honest, they've both been shady and petty with each other (and now, since I'm on a Gaga forum I'm gonna receive a lot of hate) for numerous reasons, and at different times. I just wish it all ends up with a nice conversation, a sketch on SNL, or a collab. Contrary to the Madonna/Gaga feud, this one has very little sense, and is mostly based on media exaggeration and overreacting fanbases.

I don't think they dislike eachother. I think there's a bit of tension and frustration brought in from the years of success they've had. You can clearly see they drifted apart.

They were so close from that one video from when they were in France. I think Katy was getting frustrated with how successful Gaga became so quick. So I think Katy stepped up her game. Once Katy came out on top, Gaga started to get frustrated with how artificial Katy was becoming with her music/artistic direction.
