She's also a hard worker and a touring force. I really hope one day, she'll get the recognition she deserves.It seems to me theres a hatred for her generally speaking, not within this fanbase in particular. Im indifferent about her personally, I think shes really pretty and I was inclined to like her because of it, but ive listened to her music and seen her performances and I think shes a very very green pop act thats yet to find her identity within the pop sphere. I dont mind some generic fun, but imo musically shes pretty bland and indistinguishable. Idk, but I mean shes cooler than some of her youthful ex-kid show peers so we'll see where she goes. As of yet, Miley Cyrus is the only new ex-kid star that has any real interesting star quality imo. Shes trashy and tacky, but theres a sort of vaguely artpunk feel to her attitude thats yet to come out in her music. Curious to see if it will. Ariana by comparison is just too vanilla for my taste. Its actually an entire lane she's filling. I'm truly not confusing anything. I've listened to both of her albums. I don't think I or anyone else will deny that shes vocally talented. And I don't think anyone would argue that shes trying to push any boundaries and thats not even why I dislike her. I just don't like her musical output and even for the lane of pure R&B that its supposedly filling, I think its all quite dull and on the cheap tween side of quality (but clearly thats her main demographic so I guess to throw her a bone it makes sense). Pleasant enough sometimes, but dull. And songs like One Last Time and Break Free are imo complete and utter pop garbage. Her career is green and shes yet to make an album thats really good, I think she probably will eventually. Aside from having a good voice, she really has no identity yet.
