Again, I'm not saying there were only teens but that there was a whole bunch. Maybe in the US where people later adopted him it didn't happen like that but in Europe it did. So saying "it's not true" because it's not like that in your country is a bit obnoxious. Also, I know lots of college age and young adult Taylor fans but that doesn't mean that younger people don't listen to her

I specifically said that wasn't true of his fanbase in the U.S. You referred to "how it turned out in the U.S." and stated that they had the same fanbase starting out. (Which would imply that it also means in the U.S.) Thats the part that isn't true, since Ed started out in the U.S. on Alt. Rock, Triple A and college stations. Shawn is starting out in the U.S. like Bieber, so they have similar fan bases. (In the U.S.)
