Quark 7,098
The instruments being the same is still a bit more than usual imo. But I didn't call it a rip-off, I only included it in my post because it was just so widely discussed on the forum.Other than the major beat, and similar guitar riff(even that is not exactly the same), the rest is totally different. Gaga's song is more of a trap-pop song with guitars, while this song is more of a pop-rock song.

This is just like the official song That is because many songs have very similar chord-progressions. You could literary fit many other songs into MANiCURE, or the other way around. Quark 7,098
Is that really a positive though?I am not necessarily saying that is a positive. But at this point there are so many songs that you are bound to make something that sounds a lot like something else. Gaga just wanted to make a mainstream pop song with familiar pop structures but with a nice mix of different genres.
Lona Delery 7,214
Is that really a positive though? It's neither positive nor negative. It's simply a chord progression we humans like to hear. You could fit the songs from this list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_containing_the_I–V–vi–IV_progressionInto MANiCURE if you have spare time. Sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind, I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride

But instruments ≠ chords.Anyway, I don't care about this omg I only posted it 'cause people asked, my post wasn't about that. Like I said earlier: I don't care. But in the case of ARTPOP, it's just awkward.
Dann 354
TBH it's Her best album, Cuz there is something Good about ARTPOP that others of her's albums don't have, Every of her work is simple to your brain what i mean is that we all have what we love more or less, But ARTPOP is really magic of an album. BTW was amazing and dark, TFM is a good pop music! And TF made her the star, And it's also one of the best pop records ever made, After all GAGA changed pop music forever, and left a huge huge mark of impact on pop, as an icon, and anything that you think of really, She's that amazing to do so, Did in the past and will in the feutre.Gaga is really a modern of art, And she's such a big big inspiration for a lot of fans, im sure of it and for me.etc',Without her i am nothing until this very day, she's the kinda THE artist the suits my soul the most and saved it forever, And i still fight with her and without her, i wouldn't be here I'll tell you that. destructivelove 563
It's funny because nobody complained about the bridge of "Fashion of His Love". 90% of y'all probably don't even know that the main riff of Judas is a dance music software sample or that the entire beat/drums of Bad Romance have been recycled from a DJ's mixing CD.Why can't people on this site comprehend the difference between sampling and flat out copying... Supersonic 49,376
Why can't people on this site comprehend the difference between sampling and flat out copying...Girl, was it copying? Or was it more like "Hey this instrumental is dope, can you give it to me? We're gonna tweak things a little bit and I'm gonna write lyrics, a melody that my voice follows and assist in recording and producing it." It seems hypocritical to be complaining about that when songs from her previous albums that are fan-favorites employ similar patterns in writing. Similar, not the same. Also, I'm kinda sure that Gaga has never even heard that instrumental. Like what person in their right mind would listen to 30hABCDEFG or whatever their name is. Happens to have a similar structure and some chords are the same. So what.
