gagzus 15,931
s-xuality, female empowerment & fighting against commercial restraint here's why i believe these themes could be related to the next album; The last single of every era (so far) seems to reflect the nature of the following era, Paparazzi - This idea of the dark side of fame carried over into TFM's themes & videos.Alejandro - The dark nature of the video & the relation to LGBTQ+ rights carried over into BTW's themeMarry The Night - The idea of celebrating your darkness & seeing things in a more artistic light carried over into ARTPOP G.U.Y. - the idea of empowering s-xuality, a new wave of feminism & putting power back into the hands of the artist was the message behind both the song & the video (although the latter didn't develop until the breakdown of the album era's cohesiveness).ADDITIONALLY: During her early writing process she posted possible lyrics related to vampires & witches, perhaps she was referring to her old team and how they were trying to bleed her dry & use her for their own commercial gain (supports the last theme i mentioned)So (excluding C2C) it's not highly illogical that these could be the themes of the next record, as Gaga's mindset is different and she often has her next records theme in mind by the end of an album era, hence why it shows in flashes of her videos & last single choices.Maybe i'm reading too much into this, what do you guys think? Dangerous Man 9,245
I hope not. That theme gets old too fast, thanks to Beyoncé.I'm not saying it's a bad idea but too much of everything is not good. "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body." gagzus 15,931
i hope it sounds awesome! i think it makes way for more satirical records like most of The Fame & she did say she was going back to her old self but making a more modernised version

Supersonic 49,376
I still don't understand how feminism gets "old" in songs. You know what gets old? Being told that we don't need feminism anymore when women in the 21st century literally get acid thrown in their faces for ending an abusive relationship. gagzus 15,931
Still about femism tho. and? i'd say we need more songs about feminism tbh because a lot of people & fans are still shallow about the way females should & shouldn't be interpreted in life. Especially focused against celebrities like Gaga who isn't classified as conventional beauty

Cody Draco 2,531
I'm tired of her singing about fame and her career. She has more to offer than that artistically.I still don't understand how feminism gets "old" in songs. You know what gets old? Dorothy Gale 7,575
I'm not here for songs about feminism. The Beyoncé comparisons would be overwhelming.
