Miley Cyrus Hits the Recording Studio After Split with Patrick Schwarzenegger

Miley Cyrus isn't lying in bed with a pint of Häagen-Dazs in the wake of her split with Patrick Schwarzenegger – the singer is working it out.

Cyrus, 22, shared a pic on Instagram on Tuesday that showed her in the recording studio. 

"Eating veggies in the stu," she captioned the pic, adding the hashtags "#wilsondiet #notarealdiet #asinbrian" in reference to Beach Boys front man Brian Wilson. 

A source confirmed to PEOPLE on Monday that Cyrus and Schwarzenegger, 21, had gone their separate ways after dating for five months. 



"They're just in two different places in their lives – he's in college and she's focused on her music and career," the source said.
