Who is attacking Billboard? Do you mean the comments on the site, because that isn't the case or do you mean a small group of fans on GGD expressing their opinions, because no one at BB will ever see those comments.

The award is to honor a performing songwriter "who has attained an iconic status in pop culture," according to a Thursday statement from the hall. Gaga has had a hand writing most of her hits, including "Poker Face," "Applause" and "Just Dance," although her latest album, "Cheek to Cheek" with Tony Bennett, is all covers.

Anybody else notice that when you go to the story on Billboard and scroll down to the comments section that positive comments about Gaga are being moderated. "Censored" like the very first comment that says.

Gaga fans aren't leaving threatening messages in the comment section of the article. I just read all the comments and the majority are from butthurt Madonna stans, who are upset that Gaga is getting the award. It's the same on any article published about Gaga. They make hating Gaga their full time job.

​And we still have a point criticizing Billboard for that article, because as a well known "professional" media for the music industry, they are well aware of the fact that Gaga wrote all of her hits and, consequently, they could and they should correct the original news written by Associated Press, which by the way is common practice in any professional media outlet. But they didn't, they just did a lazy job of copy/paste the AP text. No congratulations there for a sloppy job.

​No, RedOne, ZEDD, Garibay and the others are all producers and get the co-writing credits because of the tuning. They said it like 100 times.

RedOne, Garibay, White Shadow are primarily producers and not song writers. They are in the writing credits because they make the adjustments at faster POP / EDM numbers, so that the timing and arrangment  fits.

Gaga has no professional song writing team or singer-songwiters around her, just PRODUCERS + she co-produces every song:

So if gagas numbers would't be EDM / Pop - but slower numbers or ballads, then RedOnes, Garibays, White Shadows names would not appear in the writing credits. And Gaga is generous enough to give them a little percentage because of the adjustment in fast songs. They earn a lot of money because of that.
