Charlie 246
" Gaga has had a hand writing all of her hits, including "Poker Face," "Applause" and "Just Dance," although her latest album, "Cheek to Cheek" with Tony Bennett, is all covers." Even with that correction. It has a sloppy sentence structure. fav song: lady haha — no floodz ft adele

lego 44,165
But the article was correct I read the quote as the publisher meaning that she's written most of the content in ALL of her songs, because there are writing credits beyond just her name I don't think they meant "hand in writing most of her hits" meaning that there have been songs that she hasn't written They're not correct tho. "Had a hand in" already means there are other names in credits. "Most of her hits" - means she did not have "a hand in" writing SOME of her hits. It's wrong. "Most of her hits" - means she did not have "a hand in" writing SOME of her hits. It's wrong. I don't agree with your reading Mine's the following: "Had a hand in" = contributed to (among others) "most of her hits" = high percentage of each song

SpaceAce 1,058
Fair enough? That doesn't make it any less valid Unreliable maybe Sorry kiddo. Your grammar is incorrect here. "Most of her hits" reads exactly the way it should. If they wanted to say what you've interpreted, they would have said something like: she had the biggest hand in writing her hits.
