They were talking about Black Widow, not Scarlett. 

While their use of words like slut weren't wise, it's clear that they were simply joking about the character's tendency to appear as a supporting character alongside various heroes. I think some people are overreacting a little bit.

Over-reaction at its finest. It's in reference to the character alone. The quote looks bad taken out of context but in context, there's nothing wrong. If the genders were switched and it was two women calling a character a "man w***e," no one would bat an eyelid and even find it funny. Listen, girls, I want equality as much as anyone, but there are women being verbally abused for real that need FAR more attention than this out-of-context piece of banter. Part of why so many people are turned off by feminism is because they see the group as flying into a tizzy over the slightest thing. We need to chill out and pick our battles so people stop seeing as whiners.
