Like, okay Gaga, we get it, you loooove fashion, but please don't give us "Looking good and feeling fine looking good and feeling fine looking good and feeling fine SLAY!" on LG5. - I don't want more over the top, try-hard accents. They're cute when they're done right, but Venus has kind of traumatized me accent wise. - No. Fillers. Songs like Fashion!, Donatella, FOHL (Yes, shoot me. I love the song, but come on, there's so much better stuff in BTW), Money Honey (*shiver*), etc., are not up to the quality of the rest of their respective albums. What I DO Want: - Power ballads! Her vocals shine through so much in these types of songs, like Marry the Night, The Edge of Glory, Gypsy, and so much more. These are the songs that I look forward to while first listening to a Gaga album. But, not too much. Power Ballads are great, but we might need some breathers in between - Ballads. Dope, enough said. - And I want more pop done well. Either that, or some more alternative rock influences. You and I, Gypsy, Mary Jane Holland, The Edge of Glory, Paparazzi, Summerboy, Marry The Night, Speechless, etc. are AMAZING pop songs. Some of her best work, obviously I didn't include all of them, but this is what I want for her next album. Solid, cohesive pop that makes sense, is amazing, and meaningful at the same time.
