Whispering 18,865
Each to his own. Of course if you like that performance good for you, you have another song by her to listen to :)I just don't like screaming. It's also why I can't listen to her singing Bang Bang....the way she powers her way through the song makes it unlistenable to meHer vocals in Bang Bang include vocal belting, which is a valid and higher level vocal technique. You are used to all those pop girls with minimal vocal ability, who can't successfully pull off this technique. That's why you don't understand that belting is something that is done by artists with excellent vocal ability.

heavyMetalGAGA 65
I don't want any trend-hopping and watering down of her ideas/lyrics for the sake of mass consumption. No more "and don't stop the partayyyy" and other insipid lyrics to make her seem fun or relatable. DWUW is a beautiful and personal song, it didn't need that flippant R. Kelly verse and the bridge about mindless partying. I just want an authentic record that breathes life, even if that means it has some rough spots. That's what made BTW so amazing and timeless. llbcherry 591
I am considering agreeing about no songs about fame or fashion.. But they were so fun...Anyway, I do not want any stadium anthems... You & I was so much better (to me) before it was turned rock anthem. Let ballads be ballads!I do not want weird lyrics, well weird is fine, but no unpleasant words. Like when people say "moist." It's just ew. I was not a fan of "garden panty" (panty being offending cringeword) and also "swine"... No offense... Just my opinion.Sadly, no rap... JnD was ok... It's just not an avenue that needs further exploration. No collabs would be ok... Unless they were super rare, super interesting, awesome collabs. (which is relative.)I can't think of much else at the moment.
Born Brave 2,072
I hate threads like this because it's usually full of negativity but honestly this topic is relevant because of LG's instagram post... So I'll play along. Songs about Fashion! To clarify, mentions of Fashion is acceptable but whole songs dedicated to the idea of fashion is too "been there done that" for me... Kindergarten presentation of lyrics... example "Walk. Down. The. Runway. But. Dont. Puke... Its. Okay".... Cmon Gaga give us some more of that Bluffin With My Muffin esque delivery. Glamourpuss 29,062
No Zedd, no neophyte producers, no gimmicky songs, no bubblegum pop songs, no hiphop or rap, no edm, no gimmicky collaboration, if there is a collaboration I want it to be a real one with someone on Gaga's level (which is hard to come by these days), a real legend not some generic pop girl. I agree with you with what I don't want. I don't want her to collaborate with somebody like Nicki Minaj just so it will chart well. She performs on stage with the likes of Elton John, The Rolling Stones and U2 to name a few. The big names think she's a legend and she should work with all other legends, not these wannabes who don't even know what art is. I would be so happy if she gave us eighties style power ballads with her Oscar's voice as well as screechy rock voice. In the style of meat loaf but with a modern twist. We all love her on piano. I want her to give us some up beat piano tracks that ****ing rock. I want her to do something more mature this time. I feel like ARTPOP was fun but too childish. She needs to remember that not all little monsters are children.

New York 4
Rap (unless it's a good feature e.g Kendrick)OverproductionCheesy lyrics/productionEDM (no swine 2.0) but I really want one really good collab with someone like Marina, Sky or Florence; exploring an alternative/indie sound but still pop. monketsharona 81,297
No mess in the promo. No jazz or Tony Bennett (keep them for Jazz #2). I love PopGa and JazzGa, but please don't mix them ! No loud EDM like Swine. No promises she can't keep. Though I'm definitely here for songs with other artists ! Breaking Hearts is coming
KindaTrashy 163
I don't want any songs or lyrics influenced by stan culture. Stan lingo on the internet should be reserved for just that: Twitter, Tumblr, forums, etc. There's a reason most of it stays there.
