ARTPOP songs that would have been hits

Aura & Venus. G.U.Y also would have been a MUCH bigger hit if it had come after DWUW video. not MANiCURE at all, please. It's too repetitive and the iTunes Festival has a much cooler flow. it was the most overproduced track of the entire album along with XXX Dreams.

ARTPOP as the closing single of the era with a video like Ineez & Vinood's promo film would have been flawless also.

so imo the singles should have been:

1.Applause/Aura

2.Venus

3.DWUW

4.G.U.Y

5.Applause/Aura

6.ARTPOP

2. Do What U Want (Platinum in the US and the biggest hit from the album in some European countries, don't be delusional, this would've been her biggest hit since Born This Way)

3. Gypsy (Everyone who hears this song loves it. Plus it had potential for amazing piano performances that would show people her real talent)

4. G.U.Y. (I still think this could've at least gone top 10 with the right promotion and a better timing for the video)

5. MANiCURE (white girls would've liked it I think)

Some songs had huge potential, but could have gone either way.

Gypsy would have been a guaranteed hit.  Should have been single #2 or #3.

Venus would have been big if there wasn't so much Gaga backlash at the time.  If she had released it as a single people would have called it corny and stupid.  In other eras it would slay.

Sexxx Dreams also could have been big, but with how naughty it is + the Gaga backlash, a lot of stations would have refused to play it.  (featuring Rihanna would have helped big time)

DWUW would have been a big hit if it had been handled remotely well.  Also, swap R. Kelly for Xtina.

Sexxx Dreams wouldn't have done well. People would've said she was trying too hard. MANiCURE was something nobody had heard before and would've slayed. MANiCURE > Sexxx Dreams

I think ARTPOP is a beautiful album but honestly no songs besides Applause and Do What U Want are even single material, let alone potential hits.
