Might I suggest Egypt or Saudi Arabia? Their authoritarian style government has implement constitutions radically different that the one we have here. What can I say, I'm an extreme person. its just an outdated piece of paper that is used as ammo for right wing propaganda. I believe rights are afforded to us as human beings not because some old racist men in powdered wigs said it was okay...for some. And yes, while it is worse off in other parts of the world, doesn't mean I don't think that document is still garbage. Lol my opinion of course. Well, it may be outdated to you but I'm glad it exists so my rights aren't infringed upon. It's obviously not a perfect document and its interpretation has been used for evil in the past, but I feel like completely disregarding it as trash is silly. Maybe you should participate in politics to see the change you deem fit. I'm also interested in your views on what should replace this "trash?" Lol, this post just reminded me of The Walking Dead. I live in Texas and I've never encountered anyone with a gun or even thought if they had a gun. I don't live my life that way. For people who live in countries where guns are outlawed or something it may sound like we're always thinking about guns but we aren't. Now, if this law passes next week if I ever encounter some idiot walking around with his gun I WILL turn the other way and go somewhere else. Open carry is so stupid omfg. We think we have to have everything including weapons that we can flaunt around and its incredibly selfish and arrogant to think this nation needs guns when in other countries so many people die because of them, we should be an example that we as a huge and powerful nation can treat each other with trust and respect by not showing off our death machines. The Constitution is the single most important document when it comes to individual liberties in the world. It was the first and arguably only of its kind. And to call it trash makes you unamerican. Period. I don't think you'd be able to find a single other American that thinks it isn't unamerican or unpatriotic to call the foundation of this great nation "trash". Also, if you think all human rights are just granted out of thin air and not from some "old racist men", I invite you to take a trip to Saudi Arabia where they don't have a GREAT Constitution like in America that you are so unappreciative of and start dancing around in the streets singing how much you love Lady Gaga. Honestly, there are some people who just shouldn't handle a firearm, period. And it's usually those most vocal about how many guns they own and like to yell loudly about "gov'ment" taking away their firearms. Too many paranoid, trigger happy, tempermental dumbasses running around with exposed fire arms does NOT make me feel safe. Sorry. And how many have armor penetrating bullets and assault rifles stock piled in their homes? Unfortunately I know too many. And I don't like the thought of it being carried into parks, schools, and bars. Hopefully the state is doing sufficient background checks. *sigh* I just wish people put the same amount of care and activism into the thriving homeless children population.
