Well, I actually went to the store the day that album came out for the first time and listened to it a lot, so it became a big part of me back then. I listened to it to death until we got The Fame Monster, and Gaga has been evolving as an artist with every album she makes. I still listen to The Fame from time to time, but not that much anymore, some of the songs were from her early work back then, very pop and very "plastic" Gaga if you know what I mean with that. The music is still better than entire discographies of younger popstars today but it's just not an album that I play every day anymore, there's lots of new music every day so I enjoy discovering new artists and bands, etc.

The Fame is still fresh to me. I play it more than the rest of her albums. I guess this is the girl I fell in love with back in 2007. Not saying her music isn't good now but she became a bit too preachy with her message content. Especially after TFM

I dont feel ARTPOP anymore. The album aged badly for me. ARTPOP is not a bad album but the music aged bad and isnt really fun for me to listen to anymore whereas i can still listen to the fame, monster and born this way and still bop.

True. I have just some songs I still like on ARTPOP. For me, The Fame is much better.

Which is bad considering a lot of us are bored of the album already. The fame and fame monster took years to get bored of. Born this way still sounds fresh but ARTPOP for me and a lot of other people sounds dated and just boring.

Feelings about songs come and go, nostalgia comes and goes. I have a hunch in a few years time if you revisit it, you may find some gem you enjoy!

Assume you always will enjoy Gaga , just at different times.

This is very true for Born This Way. The album always takes me back to 2011-2012. It was a terrible time in my own life because three close family members, including my father, passed away. It was also the awkward teen years for me, and being gay didn't help those at all. I like to claim that Born This Way helped me get through the sad times with EOG for loss and BTW for s-xuality. It honestly wouldn't be as timeless if the album wasn't as anthematic.

Tbh I've been lately ''feeling'' it because I wasn't a fan in 2008 yet and now I'm a bit different listener :laughga: I think Poker Face and Just Dance are kind of childish but that was probably her goal when she recorded those songs - stop thinking and ''just dance, gonna be okay''. I love that I can listen to Summerboy and think about what I'm gonna do this summer. I don't have to a--lyze the lyrics or try to find a secret meaning. Some songs aren't meant to be taken seriously, they are just super catchy, just like many songs from The Fame. But I guess it's okay if The Fame doesn't excite you anymore. Everyone's music taste changes and every artist's sound changes (or at least should)
