Unless it's just an assumption of yours, please provide a source. & i can't remember where i read it but i do remember it, believe me or not is up to you. The day Troy Carter left Gaga and permanently damaged the ARTPOP era, eventually leading to 2 months of Gaga secluding herself from the world until she filmed the G.U.Y video. It is kind of illogical, because the artRAVE interludes are for the artRAVE and i'd say that only one interlude is relateable to Venus. The looks are to suit a rave (with the pacifier and the fluffy clothing), not venus. Gaga had planned seashell bikins and stuff for the Venus video, which don't appear in the interludes. Gaga had planned seashell bikins and stuff for the Venus video, which don't appear in the interludes. i'm sure she was facing problems since like mid 2012 but they slowly got worse till he essentially left (i'm sure she said he fired her essentially in that interview in 2014) all because she didn't want to be generic & beautiful all the time, which slowly made her depressed & smoking marijuana was to make herself feel better and then her hip injury made her addiction worse tbh.& it isn't illogical since we don't actually have any idea about the video, it wouldn't have all been her and dancers as Venus the whole video just with seashells, you can see the influence in a lot of the later interludes in the show there's many that have the multi colour hue scheme that the original Venus image had & the eccentric looks match it as well & the opening and just dance backdrops have the pale white thing she was going for in late 2013 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

hodori 10 Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 LOVED that look with the wood dress. it was creepy but couldn't keep my eyes off it sorta deal. to me, the whole era started off real strong and stayed true to what ARTPOP could/should have been but i feel like do what u want (despite being a killer song and one of my favourites) brought the artistic side down to a more mainstream side. wish she chose venus as the follow up single to applause.. both songs had an overall different approach to a pop song Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
