Yes indeed. Media can be tricky, you have to go a bit under the surface.

It would be that... The only thing I heard here on the TV is LGTB related so :toofloppy:

I didn't even get round to voting this year! Now that they do that FB/Twitter login thing to vote now and I barely use my Twitter, I just pass when I see stuff like that and put it on the backburner. I had no idea it was going to be over so fast. Notice how a South Korean singer is always in the top 5, if not the winner? Through these Time polls, I've discovered that South Koreans are hardcore and very patriotic. I hope Gaga will make the official list. Won't hold my breath, though. About 3 years ago, the person who got voted into second place never made it into the official list. These things are already set up, photographed, interviewed weeks before these polls go out, so the results don't influence the staff in any way.

Fortunately I think TIME wants Gaga back on the list. Sound Of Music tribute made positive waves and many media sites jumped on that praise Gaga wagon after that. They made a couple articles about that performance in particular, and one saying "when will Justin Bieber have his Lady Gaga moment?"

The sad thing is Katy and her Superbowl should have given her the same positive press that the Oscars got but she didn't. Beyonce still rated pretty high because people from multiple communities really stan for her and she genuinely has vocal chops.

I have faith in Mother Monster

What does Putin do apart from... Being Russian, you know? :reductive:

Well, he spreads love with every iinvention, the living spirit of the LMs and the biggest Gaga fan.

In the highway unicorn road to love.

'Influential' is not entitled to the sweet flavor, it sadly may have a bitter taste sometimes.

Putin is ruling the country which has, according to major media newsletters, violated some of the most important norms and regulations of the international law. The decisions he makes will affect dozens of millions people who now live on the brink of war in one of the most populous European countries. The attitude towards his actions might stir the first diplomatic conflict within EU if the countries don't reach an agreement on the issue of prolonging the sanctions by summer

Mess at all of you sayin Putin isn't influential. Nobody said his influence is good, people can be influential in a bad way too, which is what he is.

pfft

Putin just took back land that belonged to his people anyway. The **** with violating international laws. A country is not simply the result of some paperwork. It's the people. Ukraine is Russia and the EU is trying to **** up Ukraine like they ****ed up the rest of Eastern Europe, for their interests. Ukrainians are led by their "Ukraine is not Russia" ideology and not by their interests. It IS their interest to remain in the Russian sphere of influence.

Meanwhile, the United Nations of hypocrisy are pointing fingers, waiting for him to make all the wrong moves, the hot-headed slav that he is, and not bothering to save the people of Syria, Iraq and the whole of Islamic world. A problem they themselves inserted 85 years ago. That's bad. That is violating international laws. Their laws.
