So the only Warrior outtakes we have are WooHoo and Pretty Lady, right?

yepp! and as Dima has said, DWTD is apparently circulating, as well as another warrior outtake. i'm excited to hear more of what kesha'd originally expected the album to sound like!

this is a post i've been meaning to make for a long time. often Warrior (the album) gets hated on for either: (a) not being kesha's vision (b) being disposable, meaningless pop music or © not showing evolution. i don't understand when people say that. i find it to be one of the best pop releases of 2012.

1) warrior is the first song to show kesha's message. if there is one star who truly believes in the "love yourself"/etc. message, it is kesha. she seems way more sincere about it than gaga, rihanna, etc. imo, because she doesn't shove it down people's throats or anything. she wrote this song for her fans.

2) die young isn't a deep song by any means, but it served its purpose: a catchy dance track. lyrically it doesn't show much evolution, but she hasn't really released a song that sounds like this. it was meant to be infectious and it was.

3) c'mon is another fun one inspired by a real person. every artist has a song about a crush on someone--this is kesha's. just cuz it's sluttier ( :P ) than others' doesn't make it any less meaningful or whatnot.

4) thinking of you is obviously inspired by real events. it's that bitter, boy-hating track she has on every album. the chorus is super clever and this is the first rock-ish track on the record.

5) crazy kids, too, was written for her fans, but the message is slightly different. it was inspired by her party, right? it's another party song, but there's slightly more meaning in this one than in DY. it's not really supposed to be deep, obviously.

6) wherever you are gets hated on a lot, but it's a hell of a dance song. and it's a cute love song. just cuz it's electronic doesn't make it any less meaningful than if it were an acoustic song!

7) dirty love is the true rocker of the album. i'm sure she loves this s-xy song, it has iggy pop. probably the most shallow song on the record, but it's VERY fun.

8) wonderland, on the other hand, is probably the most meaningful. this one's kinda like the story of her career. it's very deep and shows a COMPLETELY different side to her than previously shown....evolution!

9) only wanna dance with you was clearly important to her, since it was an old demo that she worked on over and over again til she got it right. once again, not super meaningful, but look how specific and story-telling the lyrics are. that's awesome

10) supernatural is about having s-x with a ghost? i don't quite understand wtf that means ( ), but it's again obvs inspired by an actual event. it was meant to be an album highlight i think. it's quite beautiful imo.

11) all that matters was inspired from coachella, furthering the theme of living life and enjoying the beauty in it. it's a little silly, but the bridge is perfect for her concert--"put your mother****ing phones up". it's a killer dance song--what's so wrong with that? it sounds like nothing she's ever done before.

12) love into the light is such a pretty, raw, emotional, and inspiring song. it's like the same message as BTW, but without the cheese and cringe-worthy lyrics. she's not the best writer out there, but it's such an honest song that you have to respect it. and it sounds pretty different, again, when compared to her old stuff.

13) last goodbye is great, pop but a very different kind of pop than you'd expect from kesha. it's meaningful and inspired by a real guy

14) gold trans am is the other rocker song. very feminist, very catchy, very southern country rock. not deep at all, but it's very different-sounding for her.

15) out alive is the last of the three major dance songs on the record. it's purely a party song, but i think it has one of the best instrumentals. again, you wouldn't hear this on animal or cannibal. warrior is a very good combination of a LOT of different subgenres of POP.

16) past lives is the most indie pop song on the record, her most diverse. it's a pretty, thought-provoking song. the guitar is great; really wish she could've gotten 1-2 more wayne songs on the album..

so basically, it's not 100% different than her first two albums, but it's an amazing transition from her older sound/style to what she'll do next. let's be real, if she went from cannibal to something completely different, that'd be ridiculous too. you need to gradually evolve, not just change completely. that's so ingenuine. after a--lyzing warrior, i've realized she grew lyrically and sonically. it's an improvement and a good development. it's a way more inspiring and real-life-like album than BTW, which was over the top and unrelatable. warrior, imo, was an amazing pop release, and people who say it's not what kesha wnated may be wrong. i would think she's mostly happy with it.

this album shows great evolution, great diversity, and that she had influence in it even if people think she didn't. the lyrics are so obviously hers and even if the songs are a little party-ish and crazy, it's clearly HER life she wrote about, which is what she promised from the beginning. i don't see anything wrong with this album.

wow, if anyone reads this, thanks xP just had to vent haha

who is the producer of the two circulating warrior outtakes?

i know we have/know 12/17 dr. luke tracks, but i really want some of the wayne-produced outtkaes!

I heard that Dancing with the Devil was produced by Matt Squire, the guy who did Pretty Lady,Woohoo, and Dirty Love

i think half of the fans that complain about this album being her worst only started doing so after they found out the album didn't perform as well as they had expected. they're like oh **** i better jump ship before it sinks

wish it'd leaked in HQ--i'm a quality freak :P love the sound of this tbh

it did leak in HQ, it's just unmastered and unmixed. It wouldn't surprise me if a more finished version exists
